Garenne Lemot park

A romantic garden dedicated to Ancient Times and Art, a reconstructed ideal landscape. This place is the unmissable visit of loire atlantique area.

Napoleon's baron Sculptor LEMOT purchased that former lords hunting warren in year 1805 and replanned it into a romantic English garden in its lower part along the banks of the river Sèvre. The walk is punctuated with follies evoking Ancient Times, Arts and local history. In the upper part , can be found two major buildings in the Italian style .

The first one , the Gardener's house (Today's park reception office) is a group of reference buildings of the rustic Italian architecture . As an Antique based model it was used for classical painting background.

The second one, Lemot Villa is a neo classical villa . Its terrace overhangs the town landscape.

The Loire Atlantique Council 26 acres park property is open every day.

The park is open every day from march to september 9:am/8:pm and october to march 9:30am/6:30pm.

Gardener's house : open only out of the villa's temporary exhibitions time as the reception office of the park , permanent documentary exhibition, videos, models…

Lemot Villa : Reception office of the park on temporary exhibitions time on ly. open every day :
11am/6.30pm 5/1st to 9/30th and 2:/5:30pm from 10/1st until the end of april. Guided tours on prior reservation.
Gardener's house

Open every day 11:am/6:30pm from 5/1st to 9/30.
Every day except monday 2:pm/5:30pm from 10/1st to 4/30 ( except on monday, 12/25th and 1/1st)
