Nantes Vineyard in Western France Armorican massif area is made up of a patchworked soil  . Clisson Valley wines are rather well structured and late wines covering a large range of tastes.

A grape variety : The Melon de Bourgogne (Burgundy melon) has been planted in the Vineyard of Nantes since the XVII century.

An appellation : The Muscadet is one of the oldest French quality labeled wines of  “origine controllée”.
The Sevre et Maine Muscadet wine in the Clisson Valley owes its names to  the two rivers flowing across the Vineyard  called the Sevre Nantaise and the litlle Maine rivers.

Experience wine tasting

It can also be more structured with notes of citrus fruits, pear , and a mineral flavour going well with cooked fish.  A powerful and ropy Muscadet wine with a touch of spiced ripe or dry  fruits perfectly complements a chicken suprême, a veal cut of meat or a dish with a slightly spiced  sauce. Eventually, a few years aged Muscadet  improves the taste of  certain cheeses. You are an Epicure ?
