Clisson rivers route image

At a first instance the encounter with medieval Clisson, the castle ramparts overlooking the valley. Then a bird's eyeview and the paths lead you along the lively banks of the river Sevre with its rich and various heritage. Once you 've passed your way upon the hill, little paths lead you to the countryside, across vineyards and openfields, from stone hamlets to mill remains, up until wooded and still banks of the river Moine ,in the very heart of genuine nature. A 5 km route variant is also available.

  • Length : 14 km (loop variant length 5 km)
  • Duration : 3.30 hours.
  • Departure : Castle car park.
  • Way markers : yellow ; yellow and red on the long distance hiking trail ( GR de Pays.)common part.
  • Authorized activities : walking.
  • Passable  except after rain fall possible moist Moine river banks .
